Then it reversed sharply.
By 2023 to 2024, it had climbed to 0.43, 43, a 72% increase in just two years. This happened while funding was at record levels.
While the most sweeping domestic violence legislation in Australian history was being introduced, while billions were being committed to national plans, more money, more laws, more intervention, more deaths.
That pattern demand demands honest investigation. The fact that no institution receiving that funding is asking what it means demonstrates a lethophobia at its core. You cannot solve a problem you have defined incorrectly.
