They described it as infinity times infinity. Daddy at school pickups without exception across years of daily pickups. Both of them sprinted to me, not walked. Sprinted every time without fail. Other parents noticed. How could they not? Other kids simply walk to see their parents. I placed loving notes in their lunch boxes. They place stickers on my fridge door while getting ready for work. I built something with my children across 10 years that I believe is among the most significant things I had ever achieved. Not the career, not the properties, the relationship. And then the system did what this book documents it doing every single day to fathers across this country.
